Tapasya Investment Partners was created as an investment vehicle that builds significant wealth for our long term partners. The fund employs a long-term value based strategy. It is evaluated on an absolute return basis and seeks to outperform the market benchmark (S&P 500) over the long term.

The fund employs a “bottoms up” approach to identify investment opportunities. The fund offers an extremely attractive compensation structure that is designed to closely align incentives between the manager and the limited partners.

The fund is managed by Pratik Kodial who will also be investing a significant portion of his net-worth into the fund.

Founder and Managing Partner

Pratik Kodial founder Tapasya Investement partners

Pratik Kodial is the Founder and Managing Partner of Tapasya Investment Partners, LLC which he launched on Aug 17th 2022. He has over 3 decades of investment experience, and hands-on experience working in several industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Technology, Insurance and Consumer Goods.

Immediately before launching the fund, he was VP, Marketing and Pricing at JCP before which he was at Best Buy as Sr. Director, Pricing helping with the turnaround.

Pratik is an Engineer by education, his experience across several industries at increasing roles of responsibilities gives him a unique edge on analyzing businesses. Combined with his passion for Finance and temperamental advantages honed by several failures and successes gives him a unique advantage of beating the market.

Pratik immigrated from India in 2005, and currently resides in Frisco, Texas. He lives with his wife and 2 children

Co-Founder and CTO

Arun Singh is the Co-Founder and CTO for Tapasya Investment Partners, LLC. He joined the team in November 2022.

He is responsible for Operations, Technology and Service providers. Arun has over 25+ years of experience working with large corporations such as United Health Group, CVS and University of Minnesota assisting in similar functions.

Arun is an Engineer by education. He immigrated from India in 2001, and currently resides in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He lives with his wife and 2 children

Analyst

Rishabh Pincha is the Analyst for Tapasya Investment Partners, LLC.

Prior to joining the fund, Rishabh had worked at companies such as Essex Investment Management as an equity research intern and as Risk Analyst at Deloitte, India

He has recently completed his MS in Finance from Babson, and also has a Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering. He will be responsible for assisting in idea generation and research. Developing financial valuation models such as DCF etc. Rishabh lives in Boston, Massachusetts
